Your home is your castle, right? Why not decorate it in regal style? That’s the main idea behind royalcore, a hot new lighting and decor trend for 2023.
Royalcore is somewhat similar to the grandmillennial style we have explored before, but with a bit more ornate detail and fanciness. It’s inspired by many different things, such as popular TV shows focusing on royal characters, and often has touches of Regency style or English manor style. Royalcore is less about being faithful to one particular era of regal design and is more about mixing and matching pieces to create a fanciful look.
For royalcore vibes, think floral patterns, pretty pastels paired with golds or silvers, ornate furniture, claw-foot detailing and elegant traditional style lighting. Or, take it a little more modern by streamlining the look a bit and focusing more on glamorous, luxurious touches. Beautiful flower bouquets and vintage accessories (like a thrifted tea set, maybe?) make for a fun way to try out royalcore style.
Let’s take a look at some examples of royalcore style and take note of the different kinds of light fixtures.
Ready to crown your home in royalcore style? We have lots of great lighting options to suit your needs!
