One of the brightest and most versatile trends we are seeing in the lighting world is the white finish. Lights finished in white offer up a warm and comfortable look that pairs beautifully with any decor style!
For example, in the Savoy House Daniels chandelier pictured above, the white finish softens the edges on the antlers and elevates the look from organic to organic chic.
The Crystorama Broche chandelier also has a soft organic-chic look with wrought iron leaves finished in white.
We love the gentle, floral curves of the Mitzi Leni pendant and sconce.
White rattan in this Trade Winds Lighting pendant offers up a different take on basket-style lighting.
This Mitzi Vicky table lamp is on trend not only for its white finish and curves, but also for its groovy 70s style.
White finish lights blend well with lightly-hued rooms, as in this hallway with a Mitzi Avery ceiling light:
The brass accent on the backplate of the Mitzi Merri sconce keeps it from disappearing entirely when placed on a white wall.
On the other hand, white also works beautifully with dramatic dark paint colors. Just look at how the white ceramic base of the Mitzi Liwa lamp pops against the blue mural on the wall!
(Lamps are a great way to take a new lighting trend on a test drive!)
A white finish pairs nicely with other finishes, so you can get a mixed-metal look.
White and gold are a luminous pair, as seen in this Crystorama Alston pendant.
Similarly, white and brass are another perfect duo, like in this Trade Winds Delphine pendant.
White softens the industrial edge of the Hinkley Rowan bath vanity light.
It also adds that soft touch to the industrial Hudson Valley Painted No. 1 pendant.
In short, no matter where you might want to use a light finished in white, it is going to look great, so go for it!
