The frame is made of plastic like the light cover, however it doesn't look cheaply made and feels very sturdy. It was simple to set up and it looks like a high quality lighting fixture. Definitely recommend.

This light was a great addition to my porch. I had recently painted my front door black and repainted my window frames black so this light fixture blended perfectly. I wanted a sleek and modern look and this fixture didn't disappoint. It's very easy to install and comes with easy to read instructions.

Perfect for a porch ceiling

We installed this outdoor light on the ceiling of our open back porch. It was easy to install and hopefully it will last a long time since it's somewhat protected. I would have preferred that it be made of metal (the main reason I didn't give it 5 stars), but it's all plastic, so I am hoping that the black portion doesn't fade too much. Hopefully, since it's not in direct sun, it will stay looking nice. This works perfect for a ceiling or wall.

Received the Bayside One Light Outdoor Wall / Ceiling Mount in Black. It was easy to install on my front porch and looks great. Really enhances my new porch on this old farm house. It looks like it will be long lasting and really lights up the area on the porch. I have received several compliments on the light.
