This fan looks better in person than in pictures. The scale is perfect for my 12x10 sewing room. It provides a lot of light, which is what I was looking for. I can't speak to the installation process because I had an electrician install it. The beefs I have are 1) all three lights have to be on (or off) at one time so you must install a dimmer if you need lower light levels and 2) that the cage has to be removed in order to flip the switch to reverse the fan.
