Small design issues, but overall above average.

Mostly happy with this fan. It works well, mounted quite close to our relatively low ceiling, and came with a balancing kit (which was needed). The remote is very handy. Installation was, um, a breeze (pun intended, no apologies).
However, the main mounting bracket is designed and built so that it prevents the upper casing from fitting flush to the ceiling -- no matter how you try, there will be a gap, and in our case, a quite uneven gap, due to the pressure points that the mounting bracket applies to the ceiling. Did our best to minimize it, and it's in our bedroom, so only we will ever see it. One star off for that weird design flaw.
Otherwise, completely happy with the purchase!

Once you have the fan installed it works well, quiet and good air flow. The two negatives are around the installation. Poorly thought out from a design standpoint. Several areas are tricky because of poor access to install screws and blind screw connections. The remote dimmer does not have a full on setting, it only dims up and down. It would be nice to know if you are at max light on position.
