HUMMING NOISE INCREASES WITH HIGHER SPEEDS

The only feature I like is the appearance.
I returned the Hunter fan I purchased from another site because I thought the loud hum wasn’t normal.
I received this fan from LightsOn and it does the same thing. I’m guessing the hum is normal for Hunter products.
Hunter CLAIMS it’s “Wisper Quiet”?????? The hum gets louder with increasing speed. If the TV is loud enough it isn’t as annoying.
I previously had a another brand fan. IT was extremely quiet, what I would call Wisper Quiet. The only noise it made was the movement of air on higher speeds.
The reason I wanted the Hunter fan is because the receiver/transmitter isn’t built into the motor and can be easily replaced when it fails so you don’t have to replace the entire fan.
I’ve reluctantly decided to keep it because it’s installed and because of the replaceable receiver/transmitter.
I’m certain if it was returned and replaced the new one would have the same issue.

Fan, Light & Remote. Exactly what I wanted.

The fan has 2 shades of blades. One side is a dark brown which matches my decor & furniture. Just what I wanted. It has a brushed nickel finish to match other hardware in my home. Just what I wanted. I added a 3 ft. downrod because the ceiling is so high. Just what I wanted And yes, this fan is so quiet you won't remember it is on. This fan is just perfect.
