Despite the fact that the instructions clearly provide for a two wall switch (fan and light) wiring option, that is not how this fan works. You end up with one switch powering the whole unit on and off when toggled, and the other working the light in on/off mode. All other functions such as speed/dimming/direction must use the remote. This is not explained at all in the online description or the installation manual. The manual is, in fact the same as the one provided with all of the other fans I replaced. Short lesson here, if you are replacing a fan that has two wall mounted switches for fan control and light dimming and want to keep that functionality, do not buy this fan or any Hunter fan with an integral remote.

Beautiful fan. Would of given 5 stars if not for a broken dome light. Packaged together with thin bubble wrap thus movement of shipping broke one. Just we aware this is a remote control fan. I didn't notice at time of purchase. Would have preferred pull cords. But other than this it looks stunning in my room. Lights are very brite. Love it.
