This extreme ceiling fan is wet rated, so it can be used indoors or outdoors, and it can withstand direct rain, snow or other elements. On high, the fan puts out 9,092 cubic feet of air a minute, which is enough to cool down even extremely large rooms. Minka-Aire always makes exceptional ceiling fans and this is one of their best, and most popular, fans.
Included with this ceiling fan is Minka-Aire Wing Fan Remote Control which allows you to control the fan speed and direction (reversing for winter) as well as the power to the fan. This can be hung on the wall in a remote sling. If you prefer the wall control, you can add Minka-Aire DC Fan Wall Control which is compatible with this fan. In addition, you can convert this to a SmartFan by adding Minka-Aire SmartFan Ceiling Fan Control, which instantly makes it compatible with the Minka-Aire SmartFan phone app and your favorite home devices including Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Nest and EcoBee devices.
The best feature is the one you can't see: this ceiling fan uses a DC motor, which makes it far more efficient than other ceiling fans and reduces the sound the fan makes. You'll be surprised by how quiet this large fan is in your home. Included is one six inch downrod, however you can add a Minka-Aire 12" Flat White downrod for higher ceilings.
